Starter Wall Ties allow new walls to be joined to existing structures.\u00a0 They can be used to extend an existing building or they can be used to help create an additional leaf where a cavity is required, for example in the restoration or conversion of an old barn into a dwelling.<\/p>\n

V63 Universal Stainless Steel Wall Starter System<\/a><\/h4>\n

A channel and tie system used where new walls are being built directly from existing masonry. Suitable for both internal and external brick or block walls, in buildings up to a maximum of 8 metres or 3 storeys high.\u00a0 Designed so that multiple channels can be slotted together and so that ties can be placed at variable heights to accommodate different brick and block sizes.<\/p>\n

V30 Wavy Tail Ties<\/a><\/h4>\n

\"\"<\/a>\"Wavy<\/a><\/p>\n

These products are stainless steel ‘wavy’ tail ties designed for remedial applications where no ties are initially present. They come in lengths of 150-300mm and are intended for use with Vista resins. To install, build the new leaf until the first wall tie is needed, then drill a 10mm hole in existing masonry, clear it, and insert the resin and wavy end tie. Lay the triangular end into new brickwork mortar beds as construction progresses.<\/p>\n

The V30 Wavy Tail Tie is available for specification on the NMB Source<\/a> Platform.<\/p>\n
